THREATHUNTER: BAD APPLES / PRIVACY

Your data.
In plain language.

This privacy policy explains how ThreatHunter: Bad Apples and this website handle information, and the choices you have.

LAST UPDATED / 15 SEPTEMBER 2026

No game data is sent to us.

ThreatHunter does not send your personal information or gameplay data to the developer or to developer-operated servers. Your progress, settings, and in-game conversations are stored on your device. There is no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics in the game.

The exception during beta testing is feedback and diagnostics shared through TestFlight, as explained below. If you enable iCloud or Game Center, those optional features communicate directly with Apple.

01 / Your game data stays on your device

Your hunter profile, campaign progress, inventory, companions, journal, conversations, settings, and save backups are stored locally. We do not receive a copy of this information.

All security incidents and evidence are simulated. The game does not scan your device or collect real files for malware analysis.

02 / Feedback through TestFlight

When you submit feedback through TestFlight, Apple shares your message and any included screenshots, contact information, and device details with us. We use this information to understand your feedback and improve the game.

Apple also automatically shares crash reports and usage information for TestFlight builds, even if you do not submit feedback. This is part of Apple’s beta-testing service. See TestFlight & Privacy.

We retain copies of feedback and diagnostic reports only as long as needed to investigate issues and related follow-up. You can contact us to request access or deletion.

03 / Optional Apple services

iCloud saves: if you enable them, your save files synchronize through Apple’s servers. Game Center: when signed in, the game uses your Apple player identifier and display name; enabling campaign sharing sends scores and achievements to Apple. Apple also handles Game Center service activity. These features do not send your saves or player information to our servers.

You can play locally without these features. Apple handles its services under Apple’s Privacy Policy and Game Center & Privacy.

04 / Guidance and motion stay on-device

Optional Apple Intelligence guidance and character dialogue are processed on your device. Your questions and conversations are not sent to an AI server. Authored guidance remains available when the on-device model is unavailable.

Device tilt is used temporarily for the animated title screen. Motion readings are not saved or sent anywhere.

05 / Website visits and direct contact

This website has no analytics, tracking scripts, or marketing cookies. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the connection information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP addresses and request details. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. External links are covered by the destination’s own policy.

If you choose to email support, we receive the message and email address you provide. The game does not attach or send data automatically. We use your message to respond and retain it only as long as needed for the request and related follow-up.

06 / Your choices

Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading it may preserve that data. Manage any separate iCloud saves or device backups through Apple’s storage settings. Turning off Game Center campaign sharing stops future submissions but does not erase records already held by Apple.

To request access, correction, or deletion of feedback or correspondence you have shared with us, email [email protected]. If a child has included personal information in a message, contact us so we can remove it as appropriate.
